“I was lucky enough to have a very small figurative role there as a ” singing leader ””, tells us Alyah. “In fact, we were kind of extras, where we sang at the same time. So we will hear my voice among others. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to see the film yet, but it is likely that I will be seen on the screen. I had never done this before, especially playing in a movie with Marion Cotillard. It was a great experience that allowed me to discover the world of cinema while singing. I was playing in one of the Adam Driver scenes, which was on stage. We had the opportunity to see him in front of us. ” Cherry on the cake: “The scene was filmed at the Forum de Liège, so it was a bit at home. ”

A first single

Moving from pop to Soul, from RNB to French song, Alyah has also just released her first title entitled “Million Miles”. In this single, we discover a talented artist with a soft voice.

“I had a few opportunities, the chance in particular to produce a single, which was proposed to me by Emilio Raponi (Editor’s note: who wrote for Laurent Pagna, winner of The Voice Belgium in 2014), one of my coach’s musicians vocal Pierre Theunis ”, explains the young artist. “Million Miles” is an English song written, composed and entirely performed by a team of musicians from Liège led by Thierry Vingre and Chris Rizzuto.

“The title tells about the fact of having lost a person who is dear to us, the emptiness that his disappearance creates, but also evokes positivity, with the importance of remembering all the beautiful memories that we have lived with this person. . I like the musicality of the song, as well as the lyrics. Everyone can make the song their own in their own way. ”

The rest of the adventure? “There are beautiful things in preparation, but we keep the surprise”, concludes Alyah, who will get down to “learn the profession of singer”.

Alyah will be in concert on July 24 at the “Tous Ans’emble” Festival at the Château de Waroux, as well as on September 4 at the Feel Good Festival in Aywaille.
