Netflix, Canal +, Amazon Prime Video … movies and series to watch from July 9 to 15


Action fans will be thrilled this week. Netflix is ​​releasing, this Friday, July 9, “How I became a superhero”, a French film featuring characters endowed with super-powers. And above all, a few days later, the platform uploaded a dozen films with Jean-Claude Van Damme. What to prepare before discovering “The Last Mercenary”, last feature film with the Belgian actor in the headliner, which leaves at the end of the month on the platform.

On the competition side, the action will also be there. Thus, Canal + offers “Peninsula”, a zombie film that takes place in the same universe as “The Last Train to Busan”. Deprived of theatrical release because of the second confinement, Douglas Attal’s first feature film plunges us into a version of Paris where superheroes live fully integrated into the population. The film follows two police officers, played by Pio Marmaï and Vimala Pons, who must investigate a mysterious dangerous substance that gives powers to those who do not have them. In the cast, we also find Benoît Poelvoorde, Leïla Bekhti and Swann Arlaud.
